According to the test of using OM-D with MMF-3 and ZD lens during the press conference, the performance of AF is still not impressive. Sadly, It just like the water-proof verions of MMF-2, it seems that Olymous NOT(maybe NEVER) plan to give a new life to ZD lens on M43 camera.
For all ZD lens lover, it's definitely a bad news.

Qingdao青島 was colonized for over 10 years by germany and there are still many western style buildings around everywhere in the old town. You can enjoy having a walk or like me, sitting at the 小青島 to look back the old town and the abandoned warships. You can also have a good time in the cafe which is very relaxing and stylish in 小青島. BTW, don't try to find english book in the huge book store in down town, only one book shelf is for english books in such big book store with 4-5 storeys! :)

青島 Qingdao DAY 02

To understand the city more, to get into of them, get ride what they ride, so, to have my first bus ride in QD. Cool, it's very cheap comparing with taking taxi in QD, it's just 1 dollar for the whole tour. By my observation, QD's people will let the needed to have the seat, will not rushing into the bus rudely. So, I gave the QD bus a "LIKE"

棧橋is place that full of tourists and you can go swimming, fishing, flying kite or just have a walk to enjoy the view of old town buildings nearby. Yes, I started to smell something I was looking for - the old town of QD. I was coming.

Red leaves, cute cats, churches, pretty girls, cheap but tasty seafood and dumpling.

You can find all these in own town area. That's the QD in my mind

青島 Qingdao DAY 01

It's the Day01 of my trip of 青島Qingdao.

The impression of this place to me is antique building and

full of red leaves along the both sides of the long streets.

But sorry about that, the first half day was not what i had expected.

Hazy and it was almost like 6pm in HK when it actually was just 2pm in QD.

I couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed but anyway,

I had to cheer up and got go.

Walking around the down town and headed to the famous waterfront.
It surprised me that the seaview was cool that I can't have such endless perspective in HK because you are always being blocked by the highrises.

Plus, I found the first red leaves out there, it sweetened the first day.

Spending almost 2 hrs over there and I had a conclusion is

Yes. Down town of QD was not that antique but you can still find something cool,

just don't have a judement too early, try to be open minded and keep curious,

everyone can find his/her own pic..

Yue Man Square（裕民坊）is the center of Kwun Tong which is an old community in HK. For the sake redevelopment, this small faded out area is going to be faced off. Before it disappears in this fast changing city, I grabbed the chance to have a walk around and had the possibly last recall of my childhood memory in here.

Heritage is always the front page topic in HK lately, whenever you hear some old building going to be torned down, whenever you see tons of people with DSLR rushing to there. It's not a probleem, but the point is please respect the people who are still living over there. Somehow, such shooting behavior can be irritating, so if anyone feels uncomfortable for such kind of disturb, please put down your camera.

It was my unpleasant experience that when I was shooting in

Yue Man Square（裕民坊）, a camera guy was being blamed by a old man for reason of he didn't like being shot. Instead of stop shooting and apologize, the camera guy dropped out F word to the old man...At the moment, I felt totally shamed of taking camera because this camera guy, I really didn't want to be labelled as the same kind people...

Sorry to the camera guy.

No matter how beautiful the photos he took that time, it's empty inside.

it's my comment to you.

Dynamic range of e620 is claimed better than 5D2.

The jpeg at iso 200 is around 9ev but most of DSLR are just 8ev.

e620's raw is 11.3ev and 5D2 is11.1ev. So...

For me, 1.4F lens + 43 sensor is good enough to deliver pic with certain bokeh,

to tell the story, to render the atmosphere.

It is what happening in Hong Kong which is a place had been colonized by UK for almost 100 years. After 1997, Hong Kong returned to Mainland China and China is now getting bigger and bigger. She is affecting the world and definitely affecting life in Hong Kong. These visitors with stacks and stacks of cash come to Hong Kong for shopping and eating. It keeps the HK's declining economy alive but boosts up the price of everything in HK as well. We are enjoying the growing economy of China but sadly we are suffering at the same time. The edges of HK is fading out, the impression is getting blur. What we have now?

Somehow, Street photography is about timing.

It's something about whether you have the connection to the moment

in Chinese, it's "緣 (yuan)".

If you have Yuan with the moment, you may probably have a chance to capture everything in split second.

Olympus 43 system & m43 system

After launching the m43 system, I have been struggling for a long time to switch to m43 system or keep staying in 43 system. But I am quite sure about that it really doesn't matter to me, because whether it is the fastest AF PEN or it's fading out 43 system, I shoot in the same old way as I usual do. I am going to keep using Olympus 43 DSLR untill my second hand e620 is unable to work with me.
